Side bar contents has to be added as individual apge elemets
they donot get transfred
however.. u can add ur hacks to the templates
1..expandable spot summaries
2. notifier icon
3..author comment highlight
etc etc

Kulats u r template must be having
something like..
.sidebar .widget-content {
margin: 0 0px;
margin-bottom:0px;
margin-top:0px;
text-align: left;
}
To this try adding
border-bottom: 1px solid #375267;
