Create your own Animated pictures

Sometimes we would like to create our own animated gif files..It could be either using 2 ( or more) picturtes available with us ( say some of own digital photos) or comming up with your own creation of an animated picture

Here I have use 2 existing jpeg files and put them in a loop so that both the pics appear on and off
Here I have
used a collection of pictures to create the effect of opening and closing of a Star as a single animated gif file….I found geometric designs to be easy for learning puropse…and i have used 6 bmps here

In order to be able to do this.. you need to have Photoshop / Image-Ready already installed .. you must be willing to give yourself some time to learn about the workspace get used to the environment…Follow the instructions carefully

1.THE PREPERATION

  1. If you are going to create your animation form your existing collection of jpegs.. then I suggest taht you copy them and place them in an exclusive folder in your hard disk..say C:\Testing_animation
  2. Say you are using Pic1.jpeg & pic 2.jpeg
  3. It is adviable if the pictures have same width and/ or height for best visuals
  4. I have used Photoshop CS2 to create the animation..But the instructions would be similar for pre-CS2 versions also….(if the Animation option is avilable)

The Star.gif uses 6 bmp files each with the same 100×100 dimentions

2.PHTOSHOP CS2

By now I hope you would have decided on the dimentions of your gif file and chosen the pics accordingly

  1. Open both Pic1.jpeg & Pic2.jpeg in Photoshop
  2. Create a New Photoshop file from FILE — NEW — Sepcify the width and height
  3. Before we actually begin our animation lesson.. Lets see the order of the pictures

    Pic_1 — Pic_2 –Pic1

    Here we will be putting pictures in photoshop in this order using layers

  4. Keep the Layers pallete visible…WINDOW — LAYERS

All New files will have a default layer which serves as the background

  1. Add Pic_1 to layer1
  2. Add New Layer — Add Pic 2 (Layer 2)
  3. Add New Layer — Add Pic 1 (Layer3)…this is to give an impression of loop
  4. You may name the layers appropriately
  5. Donot worry over what you may see on the image canvas at this point of time
  6. I have given the layer palette of my star.gif where I have used bmp’s
  7. The layers are named for quick refrence
  8. Save this file in psd format … so that you may reuse for editing in photoshop againAlso save a backup copy ( psd format) at this point on
  9. Make sure that the pictures are well arranged in the layers .. in exactly the same order as you want them to be displayed in the gif file
  10. You may rearrange the layers by click-and-drag methord

3.THE ANIMATION PROCESS

  1. Now you must have your pictures in the desired sequential manner in the respective layers
  2. Make sure only the first layer (first pic to be displayed) has its EYE TURNED ON… Rest all the layers must have its “eye-turned-off”
  3. You may see in my layer pic that only the ist layer has the “Eye” icon.. all the other lauers donot-have-eye-icon
  4. This can be done by selecting the respective layer and clicking on the “Eye”
  5. Enable the animation pallete WINDOW — ANIMATION

  6. Since all the required pictures are arranged in layers…we need not worry about adding indivivual frames and modifying them
  7. We can convert all the layers into frames using the option given in the animation palette
  8. SEE PICTURE

  9. this will convert all your layers into frames
  10. The technical-know-how is…..Cick on each frame and see that only its corresponding layer will have the EYE-TURNED-ON…..Rest all layers will have its eye-turned-off
  11. You may set the time for each frame..at the location specified in the pic
  12. Use the Play-buttond to see the animation. (inside photoshop)
  13. Once fully satisfied you may use the FILE — SAVE FOR WEB — GIF FILE
  14. Now you have a Gif file in the folder..view the gif file in IE
  15. You may now upload this gif file and display it using <img src= ” ___ “/>

பஞ்ச விசித்திரம்

கடந்த சில நாளா.. நானும் மைக்ரொவவ்(ர்) கொஞ்சம் பிசி…மைக்ரொவேவவ்(ர்) சொல்ல…சொல்ல.. அவர் சுயசரிதைய்யை 3 பாகம் முடிச்சிருக்கேன்.நாங்க பாட்டுக்கு..எந்த வித controversy லெயும் சிக்காம் தேமேன்னு இருந்தப்போ தான் ஒரு திருட்டுபயல் வந்து குட்டைய்யை குழப்பிவிட்டு போயிட்டான்..

ஹ்ம்ம்.. Reel யும் திருடறாங்க..Reality லெயும் திருடறாங்க.. Virtual Reality யும் திருடறாங்க…ஹ்ம்.. இப்பிடி நாம கஷ்டப்பட்டு உருவாக்கின hacks ஐ எவனோவந்து லவுட்டிக்கிட்டு போனா…:((…நொன்து நூலா போயிட்டேன்

“தீபா… நம்ம சுயசர்தைய்யை கொஞ்ச நாள் தள்ளி வைக்கலாம்…இப்பொ நீ இருக்கிர மன-நிலையிலே உன்னால என் சுயசரிதையிலே கவனம் செலுத்த முடியாது..அதனால..ஏதாவது லைட்டா எழுத டிரை பண்ணு…” அப்பிடின்னு சொன்னப்போ தான் எனக்கு CVR சொன்னது ஞ்யாபகம் வந்தது

இதோ TAGGED விளையாட்டு விதிமுறைப் படி என்னை குறித்து 5 விஷயங்கள் ( இதெல்லாம் விசித்திரமா இல்லையான்னு படிச்சு பார்த்து கமெண்ட்டுலே மறக்காம சொல்லுங்க….அட எனக்கும் ஒரு feedback வேணுமிலே ) 1. காலையில் எழுந்தவுடன் எனக்கு காப்பி – டீ – anything else கட்டாயமாக நிர்பந்தம் இல்லை

சில பேருக்கு காலங்கார்த்தாலே ப்ல்-தேச்சவுடனே (சில பேருக்கு பல் தேக்காமலே) பெட்ரோல் போட்டா தான் அன்னிக்கி காலை-கடன்களுக்கு வண்டியே ஓடும்… நனமக்கு அப்பிடியெல்லாம் இல்லைங்க

படிக்கிர காலத்திலே.. அம்மா சூடா பால் கொண்டுவந்து டேபிள்லே வைச்சிட்டு “”மற்க்காம் குடி”” ன்னு தான் சொல்லுவாங்க..ஏன்னா ரெகார்ட் டிராயிங்ஸ் வரையிர மும்மரத்திலே அதை குடிக்கவே மறந்து போயிடுவேன் (நான் zoology ஸ்டூடென்ட் ஆக்கும்)

திருமணமான புதிதில் எங்க மாமியார் “”என்னம்மா நீ காலையிலே எதுவுமே குடிக்கமாட்டேங்கிராய்… உனக்கு இந்த பால் பிடிக்கலைன்னா சொல்லு..வெறே வரைட்டி மாத்திடலாம்.. உனக்கு காப்பி – டீ பிடிக்கலைன்னா சொல்லு.. காம்பிளான்.. ஓவல்…இதுமாதிரி ஏதாவது பழக்கம் இருக்குன்னா சன்கோஜ படாம சொல்லு…அப்புறம் உன்னை நாங்க செரியா கவனிக்கலைன்னு உங்க வீட்டுலே நினைக்கப்போராங்க”…அப்பிடீன்னு கண்கலங்கிட்டாங்க

அப்புறம் எங்க அம்மா-சித்தி -பாட்டி எல்லாரும் “இவளுக்கு இந்த பழக்கமே கிடையாது” ன்னு certificate குடுத்ததுக்கப்புறம் என் மாமியார் சொன்னாங்க “” நான் என்னமோ..ஏதோன்னு பயந்து போயிட்டேன்….நல்லவேளை..என் வயித்திலே பால் வார்த்தீங்க”

2. நான் எழுதும் how-to-do பதிவுகளை நானே google பண்ணி பார்ப்பேன்

இது ஒரு பொழுதுபோகா ஆரம்பிச்ச விஷயம்…புதுசா ஆங்கிலதிலே How-To-Do பதிவுகள் போட ஆரம்பிச்சப்போ…google search லே என்னோட பதிவுகள் வருதா…அப்பிடி வந்துதின்னா எத்தனாவதாக வருது .. main search page லே என் பதிவை பார்க்கிரப்போ… எனக்கு ஒரு அலாதியான குஷி

இப்போ இதை இன்னும் தெளிவா…ஒரு முக்கிய கடமையா தினமும் பண்ணரேன்….அப்பிடி பண்ணினதால் தானே…ஈ-அடிச்சான்-காப்பி அம்பலம் ஆச்சு… ஹ்ம்ம்..இதை பத்தி பேசினேன்னா அப்புறம் நிறுத்தவே மாட்டேன்…அடுத்த விசித்திரத்துக்கு வருவோம்

3. நான் ஆங்கிலத்திலே கவ்தை (மாதிரி) எழுதுவேன்

அடங்கோப்புறானெ சத்திய்மா நான் கவிதை (மாதிரி) எழுதுவேனுங்க..ஏதோ மனசுக்கு பட்டதை எழுதுவேன்… Rhyme – Rythm எல்லாம் அப்பப்போ இருக்கும்…அப்பப்போ இருக்காது… சந்தேகமா இருக்கா…MIND BLISS ன்னு ஒருத்தர் தினமும் ஒரு கவிதை பதிவு போடுவார் (அவரும் தமிழர் தான்)..அதிலே என்னோட முதல் கமேண்ட்டும் ஒரு கவிதை தான்…அவருடைய ஒவ்வோரு கவிதையும் எனக்கு ரொம்ப பிடிக்கும்…என்னோட பாராட்டை வேறும் வார்த்தையிலே ச
ொல்லுவதை விட கவிதையிலே சொல்வது உத்தமம்ன்னு எனக்கு படுது…அப்படியே சொல்லிவருகிரேன்

4. என்னுடைய salwar kameez க்கெல்லாம் செல்போன் வெச்சுக்க பாகெட் உண்டு

இதை சொல்லி நான் ஏர்க்கணவே ஒரு பதிவு போட்டிருக்கேன்…பாவம் நான் போனாலே என் tailor அலறியடிச்சு ஓடறார்…

என்ன தான் சொன்னாலும்.. பாவம்.. நான் சொல்லுவதை பொறுமையா கேட்டு…நான் அவருக்கு குடுக்கிர வரைபடத்தை எவ்வளவு தூரம் practical லா impliment பண்ணமுடியுமோ…சிரமம் எடுத்து எனக்கு தெச்சு குடுப்பார்..கடந்த 4 வருஷமா பாகெட் ஸல்வார் யூஸ் பண்ணறேன்… hand-bag ஐ வீட்டிலே வைச்சிட்டு…ஹாய்யா கை-வீசம்மா கை-வீசு ன்னு பாட்டு பாடிகிட்டே (மனசுக்குள்ளே தான் ) ரோட்டிலே நடக்கறேன்

5. பெரியவங்க கூட்டத்திலே என்னை தேடவேண்டாம்

இது family politics லெயிருந்து தப்பிக்க நானே கண்டுபிடித்த யுக்த்தி

நாங்க தமிழர்களேயானாலும் அப்பாவுக்கு transferable job ன் காரணாத்தால்…படித்ததேல்லாம் west-india ல்..அதனாலே.. எப்பவாவது.. cousin கல்யாணங்களுக்கு ஊருக்கு வரும்போது..ஏதாவது சகஜமா சொல்லப்போய்.. அது வேறே ஒரு cousin க்கு பிடிக்காம … மனசு கஷ்டப்பட்டு…”அவ வேளியூரிலேயிருந்து வந்திருகா ..அதான் அப்பிடி பேசுகிராள்”… ன்னு ஒரு போடு போட்டப்போ நான் அப்பிடியே பிரமிச்சு போயிட்டேன்..

அன்னிக்கி தீர்மானம் பண்ணினேன்…ஆகா…நமக்கு இப்பிடி ஒரு முத்திரை குத்தியாச்சு… இனிமே என்ன பண்ணினாலும்..இவங்க மனசிலேயிருந்து இது அழியப்போறதில்லே…ஸோ… safe ஆ இருக்கணும்ன்னா….நண்டு-சிண்டுகளேட விளையாடவேண்டியது தான்

இதிலே இன்னொரு advantage ம் இருக்கு….”” இந்த வாநரப்படைய என்ன பண்ணினா தேவிலை ” ” ன்னு பெரியவங்க அவசர-அவசரமா கோபப்படும்போது…நான் அவங்களுக்கு ஒரு ray of hope மாதிரி தெரிஞ்சேன்….அது மட்டுமில்லே… எப்பவோ வருஷத்துக்கு 1-2 தடவை ஊருக்கு வருவதாலே…நண்டு-சிண்டுகளுக்கும்….””இந்த அக்கா கிட்டே நல்ல பேர் வாங்கி நாம் எப்பிடியாவது இவங்க favourite ஆயிடணும்”” ங்கிற நினைப்பிலே சொன்னதெல்லாம் கேப்பாங்க

இதுவே திருமணத்திர்க்கப்புறம் family-politics ;)லெயிருந்து என்னை ஒரு கவசம் போல காத்தும் வருகிறது

இத்தனையும் என்னை குறித்து 5 விசித்திரம்
எனக்கு இந்த விளையாட்டிலே எனக்கு சேர்ட்டுவிட 5 பேரெல்லாம் கிடைக்கலை…3 பேர் தான் கிடைச்சாங்க

Plagiarism – pickpocketing in the net

Just as we are aware of pickpocketing on a busy street – or some stranger getting too frinely only to con us..Plagiarism is the cyberversion of pickpocketing .. or rather pick-posting from our blog

DICTIONARY DEFENITION
Plagiarism :- The unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one’s own original work.


Today morning I was shocked to see three of my template posts in someone else’s blog with absolutely no refrence to my blog and the effort I have taken to get the hacks working

  1. Add Yahoo Smilieys in blogger
  2. Organise your comments with numbers
  3. Change image when cursor moves over

The Respective posts where the contents are copy-pasted (including the spelling mistakes) are

He seems to have removed the yahoo smiley post and posted Smiley Hacked Realease New Blogger whre he has linked back to me..
But then i dont undersntand the language used..
